One Favorite Offering

Place four red apples on a white plate.  Pour honey over the apples.  Sprinkle cinnamon over the apples and honey.  If possible, grate a small amount fresh cinnamon over the apples and honey; leave the remainder of the stick with the apples.  Place a glass of red wine next to the plate.  Light a red seven-day (tall boy) candle or a Saint Barbara candle. Be certain to ask him for specific needs that you have which are appropriate to ask.  I have listed a few suggestions below to get you started:

• Good luck in your life
• New job that is good for you
• Bring money into your life
• Bring love and passion into your sex life
• Good dancing skills
• Sway business dealings in your favor
• Remove male health problem
• Find a mate and be married

Keep the candle lit until it burns out on its own.  It is preferable that you leave the candle burning the entire time, so take care to place the candle in a safe place.  Even if the candle burns out before six days have passed, continue to leave the apple offering to Chango for the entire six days.  After six days have elapsed (on the seventh day), bring six pennies with you, and go to a forest or some sort of large field. Place the apples and honey on the ground.  Take out the six pennies.  One by one, make the sign of the cross, ask Chango for one wish and throw the penny next to your offering.  Repeat this process with each penny.

Suitable Offerings

Flowers— red roses are a favorite; Red candle; Red wine, plantains; red apples; honey and cinnamon inside the cored apples; rum, okra, turtle shells, rum, aguardiente. Chango is sometimes accompanied by his horse, so you may place images of black horses in his honor.
